HIGH SCHOOL AMBASSADORS
ORIENTATION CAMP
Each year, we organize a 4-day orientation camp to prepare our High School Ambassadors, who have been selected to participate in official student exchange programs in 16 countries—foremost among them Canada—under the auspices of the respective Ministries of Education. This camp is conducted in collaboration with renowned educators and expert speakers in their fields.
The orientation program is carefully designed to emphasise the principles of intercultural learning. With this objective, we incorporate various intercultural learning models to ensure the creation of the most effective and enriching educational environment for our students.
To further enhance the learning experience and ensure active student engagement, we apply David Kolb’s Experiential Learning Model, which emphasizes learning through reflection on doing. This approach guides students through a process beginning with a concrete experience, followed by reflection, conceptual understanding, and finally, the application of knowledge in practical contexts.
Throughout the program, we employ methods such as large group workshops, role-playing, and simulations to support active participation tailored to each student’s individual learning style and personal development.
