AKARYILDIZ MUSIC SOCIETY

Founded under the leadership of Alper Akaryıldız, a soloist with the Presidential Classical Turkish Music Choir, the Akaryıldız Mûsikî Cemiyeti was established as the first initiative of the WCEP Arts & Culture Workshop within the scope of WCEP Arts & Culture programs.

With a mission to inspire younger generations to appreciate Turkish Classical Music, the society is dedicated to performing both traditional and contemporary Turkish music pieces faithfully and authentically. It follows the traditional "meşk" system—a classical method of transmission and practice—offering both individual and group performances.
